I’ve been looking through treads and just seeing if someone could give me some advise. I recently washed my truck and spent a while on the bed with the tailgate down. After all that I realized my tailgate wasn’t locking with my key fob or door buttons. I checked the fuse under the driver side that says “tail”. It was good. All the wires are still connected. What should my next steps to see what the issue is. In 5k miles over my warranty. Any advice would be nice.

Wondering if there is another fuse I should check. I read somewhere that there maybe a fuse behind the kick panel on the passenger side. I removed the panel but didn’t see any fuses in the wiring
