When i enter the vin and all the necessary info KBB is at least $7k less than what dealers are asking for used. Assuming the dealer is only coming down $1 or $2k what gives. Used gen 2

Short answer is no, car market has been messed up for years now. I wouldn’t expect kbb to be able to adjust with any confidence.

Pull comps from other dealers and private sales.

You can also leave your phone number and say "if you're ever willing to come down to $xxxxx, call me."

Are you trying to price your own vehicle for sale/trade?

KBB has never applied to Tacomas, it’s good for getting a ballpark on your shitbox trade before you go into the dealer and not much else

Ok ball park figure on a 2015 4x4. Cloth interior. Full cab. 65,000 miles. Manual tranny. Topper. All stock except topper. Very clean except a 4 inch scrape down to the metal above rear wheel. For sake of discussion without seeing it what is a ball park range. Some surface rust on a few areas on the frame. He is asking $34k. I am thinking $29k at most.

What state are you in? 29k would probably be fair in California but it’s a little high in the northeast. Before I got mine I was looking for a similar truck for months and probably wouldn’t have even looked at one priced that high unless it was immaculate but your area may be different

I think that’s actually higher than msrp, clean 2nd gen manuals seem to be going up
