Intro, Car collector

Hi just wanted to introduce myself. I collect japanese cars, looking to try and hunt down as close to a "new" 1st gen tacoma as possible along with a 04-07 STI in similar condition & 06 lancer evo to have the ultimate 3 car garage from when I was a kid with my 3 fav vehicles.

 

Welcome! And nice planned 3 car garage! I kinda regret not owning an 04-05 STi but at this point that ship has sailed. I assume you're already searching Bring A Trailer and Cars & Bids?

 

Yes I have, but I prefer to buy from an owner directly. I hate the idea of giving scalpers and flippers my money.

I have been looking for a 04-07 STI, ideally 05, with under 10k miles for a while. Had posted finders fees of 1-2k but no luck

Looking for a evo within similar mileage and I am more flexible with a Tacoma, but would love one thats sub 10k just to park and drive on nice days. Nostalgia is the best drug! I own a small shop and am super busy so doubt I would have time to drive them anyways. The good thing is I would be able to have an eye on them 24/7
