    I used to take the bus, .35cents round trip to Tiger Stadium. Bleacher seats were a buck. We would go for every, hat day, ball day, bat day, bring our own popcorn. My dad was our Scout master, he would take us once a year. I remember him bribing the ticket booth guy with a fiver for the “good seats” in left field.

    I had a good friend who was a painter; he passed from pancreatic cancer. I also knew another union painter[family friend] who died from cancer. Nowadays mechanics, painters, etc are wearing gloves- maybe years of exposure to paint & chemicals are responsible for some of these deaths?
