I have a “22” SR V6 4x4 Double Cab. I noticed a wire with a connector under the headlights. Is my Tacoma pre-wired for fog lights, the service department told me they didn’t think it was, does anyone else know if it is or isn’t? I would like to install fog lights but really don’t want to hire it out, thanks, lilwheel

@memario1214 can hook you up. If you actually want usable fog lights Diode Dynamics are the ticket.

I really don't have a full answer for you, but I have an older Toyota that was pre-wired for a lot of stuff that it didn't come with. It's also much lower on the hierarchy of grades. I added foglights to it, and all I had to do was purchase the lights, a relay and the right stalk. Every bit of the wiring was already there.

What does this have to do with your truck? Well, take a look in the fuse box under the hood and see if there's a blank relay spot for the lights and see if there are existing terminals down in the slots where the relay plugs. I'd say it's a pretty good indication right there.
