I get it. I haul tanks and pump equipment daily along with tools and parts and supplies.
I've tried it with a Tacoma, and upgraded parts for more
hauling capacity but its like a never ending upgrade.

I love Tacomas, I've had 3 of them and have one as a daily driver, but my 3/4 ton Chevy can haul everything I have and pull
a trailer or a machine and I didn't have to do anything at all to it. That doesn't mean I like it better, it just tows and hauls better.

Its about the right tool for the job.

I always wanted a white GS C6 but my nephew already has one.

If you get a manual transmission GS it comes standard with dry sump setup for racetrack use, and full ZO6 suspension.
Did I mention the best v8 engine ever made ?

Old and boring trumps young and stupid! I’m surprised that I made it to 67 after some of the stupid stuff I did in my youth.

    minor tweaks
Motorcycles taught me that same thing. With them, it's really easy to change the character of a motor with some relatively simple changes, I found many engine mods benefit a narrow spectrum of use and often detract in other areas. These days I roll mostly stock with some minor (tasteful) tweaks.

Well... It does look moose-proof.... But it also looks like it weighs half of what the whole truck does... :D

Do you use this logic in other parts of your life? Say you paint your house but you don't like it and now its going to take a few days to repaint it. Instead you sell the house to a realtor in 25 minutes and now you have no house. Problem solved!

Sweet ride, man. I am skeptical the Tacoma towed that very well though.

Love the Bronco. I would have been temped by one when I bought my Tacoma in 2022, but my local Toyota dealer wasn't adding dealer markups whereas the Ford dealers were going crazy.

Sounds like another case of buying the wrong truck for your needs.
I get a kick out of the members trying to pull these big ass campers and trailers and blame the performance on the truck.
    It wasn't made for it.

I was checking out Broncos for the time I can't climb up comfortably into my lifted Taco. Apparently the Bronco 2.7 engine has problems. I also hate the engine off/on at every light/stop sign.

I'll double down on this being the best forum by far. I sold my 2010 Tacoma last month and went with a Sierra Denali. I still hang around here because the network of people are awesome. Best of luck on your new ride, whatever you get.

    nice, enjoy!
I would wheel one of those too! I haven't heard recently, are they still in short supply with dealers charging way over MSRP? Not that I am ready to buy, I still have years to go yet.

    No markup any more,
Ford send a letter to their dealers telling them No markup or they loose there license.

I’ve got 150 pounds of extra weight in the front (winch and stump bumper) and have absolutely zero issues. 2887 OME springs. Truck handles great on and off-road, I’m sans sway bar as well. I tow a lot too.

In fact my tires still look like new after 15k miles. A lot of these miles spent off-road.

Bronco’s are pretty cool, only 3500 lbs of towing though, will be worse than the Taco. OP should probably get a 3/4-1 Ton.
It is because it will go right under a moose! :D  ;)

Have an ARB on my 1st Gen, didn’t notice any handling issues or odd tire wear, and I put that on at 90K miles, and the truck now has 435K. Did upgrade the suspension though.

I remember when the 1st idiot named Trudeau changed us to metric. The only one's who believed or wanted it lived in Quebec and some in Ontario. To this day I know what a lb, foot and Fahrenheit degree is. My brain hasn't gotten use to the metric crap after over 40 years. Most people go to the lumber store looking for 2x4's boards and 4x8 plywood not the metric crap. Thanks to the Trudeau's not not.
