Anybody know where I can find a usb port that will pop into the switch panel. Added a carplay kit and it has a seperate USB plug from the stock one. I popped out one of the switch panel blanks and ran it through. ISO a piece I can use to make it fit into place and look factory.

That looks like a female cable end, no?

I'm thinking your cleanest option might be to find some kind of panel mount female-to-male and then install it yourself in a blank switch panel

Amazon, fits in the factory space and works just fine. Looks like the factory USB port as well. I have a CarPlay kit in my ‘18 that runs a 2nd USB and it worked perfectly.

Can you elaborate on what “CarPlay kit” you added? Interested in doing the same with my 2019. Appt CarPlay is one feature I wish I had for both convenience and safety.

I really like how clean this looks. But, please pardon my dumb...how did you get the USB ends through the hole in the blank?

I have my wireless CarPlay adapter in the glove box so the usb c end goes through the grommet into the wireless CarPlay dongle in the glove box. The other wire is just an iPhone cable that is routed through the grommet and up to the top of the radio where I keep my phone on a magnet mount.

Ahh, ok, so it's the other ends (USB C and Lightning) that fit through the hole! Thanks! I have a wireless CarPlay adapter as well and I'm hunting for a home for it...this might be the solution!

Correct here is a few more pictures. I have a sticky clip on the side of the glove box and the clip has a spot for a zip tie to hold the dongle.

I'm looking to replace that usb a port that connects to the infotainment system. I just wanted to make sure I get something that connects to the weird oem port. Ideally I'd like to replace it with a dual USBa & USBc but I'll take whatever I can get.

Any help is appreciated, this port has been driving me crazy

Not sure this helps...Search feature not helpful but I did find a parts list here (few years back) for splitting the factory USB. The original panel gets tucked behind the dash and the splitter plugs into that. One end goes back to factory location and the other into the glovebox. There is a factory style panel the other plugs into.

What do you mean by 'added a carplay kit'? Is it a full HU replacement or just an adapter to make carplay work?

There are adapters to integrate the factory usb port with an aftermarket HU that convert it to a traditional USB-A port. I'm using this + a 6" USB-C to USB-A cable to allow the factory usb plug work with my Pioneer. My factory USB dash port is square though, so I cannot say if this adapter will work for you, but there are a few out there for factory integration adaptation.
