Nothing specific in mind, but looking down the road -

My 2015 has 18" wheels and 265/60/18 tires, and I am wondering what other Tacoma wheel and tires combinations would be compatible if I found a style more to my liking. Now and then a nice set pops up for sale for short money. Are all the 6 lug wheels pretty much interchangeable? Do offsets / clearance ever become an issue?

    TIA

For the most part, the 6-lug wheels are interchangeable since they're all the same bolt pattern. The exceptions being one of the 16" wheels from the 1st gen Tacoma/3rd gen 4Runner doesn't clear the brake calipers. The new Tundra is back to 6-lug, but the hub diameter is smaller. The offsets are typically +30 for Tacoma wheels, and +15 for wheels from a 4Runner/FJ Cruiser.

You should be safe with anything from 2nd/3rd/4th gen Tacoma, 4th and 5th gen 4Runner, and FJ Cruiser. I think 1st and 2nd gen GX460 wheels should fit as well.
