You’re right. I just typed in “Virgin Mary, 1911” on Google and took that image without checking. The Hi-Power fits my point even better though.

I can't understand why anyone would spend that kind of money to camp in such a god forsaken place? But then again, I once camped in the middle of a south Georgia swamp so.... :)

God-forsaken places tend to have less people in them, that's a big draw for me IMHO :)

We actually have a choice of mountain forests, beaches and deserts here in California, but personally my wife and I prefer the desert and the more remote the better. We go prospecting and rock hounding a lot so that’s part of why also. Never been camping in a swamp, always wanted to - like on the canoe trails in the Okefenokee…

Okeefenokee swamp was where I went. You canoe back deep into the swamp and camp on these raised platforms. At night when you shine your flashlight out into the swamp, you see hundreds of glowing red eyes looking back at you!

Only 1 with lines is the inferno at work.
There are skids that a forklift needs room for on passenger side and no one else parks that far from doors. I’m the only one out there! Plus after 30yrs it’s know as mine! No one parks beside me.

He’s 100% missing an offbrand set of traction boards and rotopax on the side of those racks. Do you even overland bro?

Well it means he needs a set of traction boards on one side of that rack…

    IMG_1715.jpg
    and rotopax on the other…
    IMG_1714.jpg
    that would complete “the look”

That's a horrible idea. What time?
    .
He has the mounts for them, so maybe they were left behind in the driveway when he was leveling the truck to set up the tent for the first time.
