What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I use the controller from the same manufacturer as ssd2k2 does it appears, the RedArc Tow Pro.
It really does work really well. It changes color from a blue when not in use to light red when mild brake pressure is applied to a deep dark red when heavy brake pressure is applied. It's also super easy to glance at the dial to see how high it's set and and dial the pressure back if off road or on rainy or flat terrain.

Took the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit out for a mountain spin.

 

Finally got a bag to hold my "floating" items in my truck.
It's a LAPoliceGear molle bag, the perfect size to hold my extra radio/radio accessories, extra work gloves, headlamp/spare battery.
Stuff that was just hanging out loose in the back seat storage bins.

 

Finally got around to running the coax from my Firestik II into the cab, terminating it and then tuned the antenna. Trying to use it on ham and CB so I tuned it for 28MHz. The two vertical dashed lines indicate CB Channel 1 to Channel 40.

 

Did you DIY your hood or have it done? If so, how much did they charge you? TIA

 

Both lol, I tried it myself ($90 3M sheet off Amazon) and did pretty good but there were some wrinkles that my OCD could not take. So I did have a Pro do it for $350. Was worth the $90 gamble to see if I could pull it off myself. Less OCD and I would have left it but ya know..

I know this is kind of a lame upgrade, but the real reason I did it was because my wife seems to keep trying to change it into 4 High when she trying to start the Tacoma. This should make it a little easier for her. Yep Crocks & Socks, I found these to be the best shoes to wear when my Plantar fasciitis is acting up., I have 2 pairs a Texas Flag and a pair of Dress shoes in Black.

 

Rough Country Black Series 20" for the new bumper. Had to customize the mounting brackets and hardware. Easy peezy. Gonna get some Lamin-X tint to make the bar more stealthy. No winch yet as I am still Mall Crawling.

 

I’ve used the turtle wax label and sticker removal with great success!

 

Nice!! Yeah I knew they had to be a good tire when the place that did my lift recommended them and also 3 or 4 of their employees ran them .

Installed in mid February. IMHO they are great quality made in China, fit perfectly, while Toyotas are made in Mexico. They came with bulbs and the holders. Factory ones won't fit unless you mod. The only fault is there could be a better gasket sealing the bulb holder to the housing buy there hasn't been any water infiltration inside the housing.

 

Replaced original brake pads...103k miles!

 

Installed Boomer’s RAM style ball mount. Easy install, wonderful fit.

I am ordering a few 20mm ball mounts, all the mounts I have are 20mm, not 25mm. In the mean time…..for the Jeep bois!

 

Only a month later but finally got around to the back doors today.

HushMat and SoundSkins Pro.

 

Drove 2.5 hours to my nearest city to get the OTT tune. Holy crap! So much more fun to drive.
