So long story short in a snow storm this weekend i got into a collision with a guard rail as you can see from the video.

lucky for me (i think) everything in the engine bay was unscathed including the radiator and A/C system

Oil levels and coolant levels are good.

however it seems that there is a loud ticking noise that seems to cut in and out from increasing RPMs i know these engines make a loud ticking noise loud injectors and what not but this just seems excessive and i don't want to get my truck fixed only to have this engine go not to long after the fact.
drove back home today from my families place and it was ticking when i left and after i got home the ticking wasn't so bad. i then shut the truck off for a bit and turned it on and it was kinda excessive and increasing and decreasing with the RPMS. that was when this video was taken.
im not sure if this is normal or im just being more "aware" after this crash.
im going to talk to insurance tomorrow and ill probably mention the ticking noise but i want to know what you guys think.
