Can anyone tell me if I can adjust the length of the master cylinder push rod while connected to the clutch pedal? I can spin it while disconnected but can’t seem to figure it out when it is connected. Doesn’t seem to want to spin unless disconnected from the pedal. I have loosened the lock nut. What am I missing?

Yes, it is threaded into the front of the silver bushing/clevis thing. It's supposed to turn after the locknut is cracked loose.
