I'm in the market for a tacoma and have been trying to locate a clean double cab 4x4 Spruce Mica tacoma. I have cash in hand and dont mind paying a fair amount for a clean truck.

Stock or built is fine with me.
Any help locating one would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks everyone!!

Heres a picture of my old 2012 Spruce Mica tacoma. I miss is alot... taco.jpg

Lol, I check it every day. Just curious if anyone has seen any in their local markets that are not on tacomaworld. For example, Facebook marketplace, Craigslist etc.

Ha, good luck! Probably the hardest color to nail down based on my searching over the past months; maybe a toss up between this and blue.

Oh, and I'm competing with you, BTW; unless you're the jerk that got a '14 from a Chevy dealer near Seattle on Memorial day and are no longer looking. And if that was you...oh my god, I hate you, so so much, I thought this search was finally over..

I found a low mileage ‘15 Trd Pro Inferno. Not a spruce mica but I'm loving it so far. Constantly catching myself turning around looking at it after I park.

Probably selling my SR5 Spruce Mica 4x4 Double Cab (2012). It has 180k and it's from the east coast. So surface rust, nothing too bad, but probably need to PB Blaster the hell out of all the bolts and stuff.

Yeah, it was easy to find mine...once I found it after a relentless multi-month search...worth it though, can't wait to get it cleaned up!

I guess that is true if you don't care about condition?

BUMP** I’ve got a 2015 TRD Pro Tacoma Inferno with right at 100k miles. Gorgeous truck and runs perfect across the board.

Tossing around the idea of trading it for a Spruce Mica Tacoma. That’s really the only color I’d want to trade it for unless it’s a really clean well put together black 2.5 gen. Had a spruce mica when I was younger and would love to get back in one.

Again looking to trade for a Spruce Mica Tacoma. Has to be 4wd, huge plus if it’s manual!!

    Some details on the truck.

    Maintenance:

    - Full synthetic oil changes, myself, 2x per year regardless or every 5k whichever is first.

    - Fox Factory 2.5 shocks all around (not 2.0s in the back). With reservoirs on the rears.

    - Icon Multi-Rate RXT Leaf Spring Kit

    - SPC Upper Control Arms.

    - ECGS Clamshell Case Bushing. Eliminates potential vibrations that can be caused by suspension lift

    - Wheeler's Off-Road Superbump bumpstops, front and rear. Super plush compared to OEM

    - Wheeler's Off-Road U-bolt flip kit. Super clean compared to OEM

    - Old Man Emu (OME) driveline packer kit. Corrects the driveline angle with lift

    - Wheeler's Off-Road angled pinion shims.

    Wheels and Tires:

    - Enkei RPT1 wheels

    - Nokian Outpost NAT tires with less than 5k miles on them.

    - Muteki SR35 closed-end locking lug nuts

    Armor:

    - SOS Concepts Offroad Streamline bumper, aluminum, black powder coated

    - CBI Off Road Fab front and read skid plates, aluminum, black powder coated

    - SDHQ ABS Guards

    - Gear Tech Customs Protec Spash Guards

    - RokBlokz Mud Flabs. The OEM flaps break all the time. These are shorter, more pronounced on the sides, and slightly flexible

    - Headlights PPF Wrapped

    Recovery:

    - Warn EVO VR 10K Synthetic

    - RototraX traction boards and DLX mount on the cabside of the bed

    - Factor 55 Flatlink E

    - Factor 55 1.5" Hawse Fairlead

    Bed:

    - Line-X bedlined by Line-X of Grand Junction

    - SDHQ Bed Stiffeners

    - OEM Tacoma Thick Rubber Bed Mat

    - Cali Raised MOLLE System on both sides, full bed length

    - BAK Revolver X2 tonneau cover

    - Pop & Lock tailgate lock

    Electronics:

    - WeBoost Drive Reach Fleet cellphone signal booster, integrated into the 3rd brake light

    - Meso Customs 3rd Brake Light that uses Baja Designs Rock Lights and integrates the WeBoost antenna

    - Baja Designs Amber Fog Lights.

    - Meso Customs LED interior front map lights and rear dome light

    - SDHQ billet battery terminal upgrade

    - SDHQ billet battery hold down

    - SwitchPro

    Miscellaneous:

    - Meso Customs Gasshole, gas cap

    - Never had a mechanical issue or concern

    - Garmin Dash Cam Mini with Garmin polarized lens cover

    Mechanical:

    - Cold Air Intake, Spectre Performance Air intake

    - K&N Engine Air Filter

    Interior:

    - Covercraft Carhartt Precision Fit Seat Covers, front and rear, gravel grey-matching the OEM interior

I've seen a few for sale posted on autotrader and carfax but all are at dealerships.
It would be super convenient if someone wanted to work a trade that way both party's wouldnt have to pay any taxes.

Now that’s one nice looking truck!
Good luck with your search. From what I’ve read on TW, Toyota only offered Spruce Mica one year. I hope I’m wrong because it’s an absolutely beautiful color!

Thanks! I miss it a lot. Mine was a 2012 and I've seen several from 2013 and 2014 so I think they ran the color for 3 years. Not long enough though if you ask me!!

I’m glad I stand corrected. 3 years is much better than 1!
It’s an Amazing color for sure!
