2wL illumination daisy chain

Hi Dave, I am getting ready to install ABC (rear only) and 2wL harnesses and tying them into the Redside Electric LSP illumination harness + daisy chain at the same time (2017 TRD Sport AC 6MT). I was browsing the forums and saw your male/female JAE adapter with JST 2pin diversion (pic below). Is this something I can order?

I was also wondering where/what kind of wire and JST pins/sockets, wire loom and crimping tool you use? I am going to need to make my own connections and I'd like to keep things uniform if possible. I'll have to modify the ground/ill daisy chain with a male JST to connect to your harness and I would like to make an additional 2-pin JST connecting the ACC/power from the ABC harness to the JAE end of the illumination harness. I think it will be very similar to the way you described your setup? I don't have any experience crimping or making harnesses but feel I can figure it out.

I used this for my 2Lo setup. But since then, Kyle started covering all of the needs for switch illumination. I think he has a harness for ECT to grab illumination but that doesn’t help MT. He made me one off the hazard IIRC. Do you see anything listed for MT lower switch panel? Or are you putting yours elsewhere, overhead or driver cubby?

as far as injecting it to the 2Lo, I’d probably mate to Kyle’s connector standard over JST. I picked JST mostly because that’s what DSIM and MESO used / use for puddles and domerock. But Kyle’s stuff allows daisy chaining so an easier standard, though finding JST splitters was easy.

I have some JAE green females but I actually sent all my males to Kyle. I could potentially order more. But I don’t love crimping the small stuff.

I’d probably just hack the 2Lo harness up, orphan off the illumination side and feed it from a pigtail compatible with the redside connector.
