What does concern me is the possibility of hail, prime conditions

Hail is the worse. If there is a chance of hail I go into prevention mode and get the boat covered
And moved out of the garage and all my cars get stuffed into it..

Finally got wife's car remote apart. Stubborn little bugger, plus I didn't have the exact size tiny phillips at the time. Hard to believe the original battery lasted since 2002.
New, better, must have, tiny screwdriver set, fresh battery arrived. I put a little reverse torque on the screw, presto... loose. The stars are aligned again.

I don’t mess around with hail. The Harley is in there too.
Less than 15 min to do this. People thought I was nuts until we had a hail storm.
    Lots of cars got damaged…

In 2018 I rode out to South Dakota for a FJR forum meet. A few of us had been out riding most of the day and were on our way back to the hotel in Spearfish when the weather started looking bad. We wicked it up a little and got back to the hotel and tucked the bikes under the awnings alongside the building best we could when it let loose. Saw hail about the size of a quarter. Heard the next morning on the radio that an RV dealership along I-90 lost almost 500 campers to hail damage. Later that morning we stopped for gas and the attendant told us she'd been on the highway when it rolled through. She pulled over to the side of the road as visibility was too bad to continue driving. Hail was that strong it shattered every window in the 3 week old truck and the truck was a total loss. Hail is not something to take lightly.

I thought Popeil made the pocket fisherman but Ronco makes one too. A buddy of mine, an avid fisherman, bought one for pond fishing and all I can say it does work well.

Ronco is still in business and makes some decent products.

My cousins husband retired from the Uniformed Service of the Secret Service, white house detail. He was retired and living the good life cutting grass on a golf course complex in Myrtle Beach. 911 happened and when Homeland called him the third time, he went back to work to get the agency off the ground, running, quickly.

Good morning. Son is doing an open mic night tonight so I will be out late. Going to use the ham bone and make a bean soup today.
