This saved me a few weeks ago...AFTER I put the groceries in my truck, returned my cart to the holder....Someone PARKED A SCOOTER behind my truck....I get in, throw it in reverse and because I'm old school just look over my shoulder to back out into the mostly empty lot...

I feel a strong resistance and push as I back out...
HMM....Look down at the rear view camera...there's a mobility scooter....WTF...

    F$#%ing unreal....

    Anywho....you scratched my ball...

I've had this happen to me twice. Once in my 2016 Taco and once in another vehicle. Both times sitting stopped at a red light for like 30 seconds and the car behind me rolls into me. Amazing that people can't keep their foot on the brake or even pay enough attention to know they are moving.

They do not unfortunately. Parking sensors maybe but nothing that uses BSM.
4WP had one but it’s been discontinued

I had my truck parked up against the house with -20 below temps and it rolled forward to the garage door frame when I put it in reverse from park because I was parked on a clump of snow under the one tire. It only rolled 3" and still managed to damage the bumper cover and broke the headlight mounting brackets. More unseen damage underneath as well with everything being plastic and frigid conditions. I was like really? They dont make them like they used to. I guess this is what they mean when they say the truck did its job protecting you. My door frame was undamaged.

Sooo.... You didn't fall out of your truck with an agonized look on your face screaming 'My neck! MY NECK! Call 911!! I've been crippled for life! Call my lawyer!'... LOL!

Similar situation to OPs happened to my friend. The other driver got out of their car, phone held to their ear with one hand and the other clutching the back of their neck, screaming “I got TEEEEE bone! I got TEEEE bone!” despite them tapping my friend in the rear bumper at a red light

This exact thing happened to me about a month ago. Lady wasn't paying attention and hit my bumper. Luckily she hit my hitch and there was no damage. I wasn't taking a chance since it's a new truck so I called the cops to file a report. Turns out she wasn't registered or insured. I'm sure day didn't get any better...
