Online Tires / Wheels together + Balancing

Good morning Tacoma World. Does anyone have an online shop they would recommend for purchasing wheels / tires together that will also balance them?

I live in the British Virgin Islands and there are no shops here that sell wheels / tires. So I am looking to ship them in but would like to know that they are properly balanced before shipping. Any recommendations?

I've been to the BVI a few times, and find it hard to imagine there are no tire and balancing sources there..........

I'm born and raised in Tortola and I promise you Brothers Car Wash does not have a balancing machine.. They do however own a pressure washer or two and some tire plugs with a bucket of soap and water for fixing punctures. For instance, TAG sells tires and does alignments but have no machine for it and there is no print out paper at the end showing you what was out. Same thing for VI motors, International Motors, etc.

I'll rephrase my statement. There is no where here that I would personally trust to buy tires from (and no where that sells wheels) that I could have them properly balanced with. Hence why I would like to buy from a trusted source in the US and pay the extra for shipping and duty.

I have never heard of anyone shipping mounted and balanced tire and wheel combos new.

An inflated truck tire on a rim is ungodly heavy.

 

There are tons of places out there that do it. I got a set for a lifted truck I had once, no, it wasn't cheap.

 

I know Tire Rack used to. Order wheels, order tires, total weight is the same, separate or together. They even would sipe and balance if you wanted. (like autox tires)

I don't know if that is still available or not.

 

I don’t think so, because I used to order winter tires all the time, or get sipping on off-road tires, and nobody offers that anymore. A tire shop I trusted for a very long time in Fort Collins told me that they aren’t allowed to sipe tires anymore on passenger vehicles. I think if you brought them just a set of four tires and claimed it was for off-highway use, they probably would sipe them for you still.

The last time I ordered winter tires and steelies for my 200, they came unassembled.

 

For me so long as the shipping in the US is free to Miami / not that expensive it gets sent to a fright forwarder in Miami where it gets loaded onto a pallet and then you're charged on amount of pallets for shipping to the BVI rather than the weight of the pallet. So the weight is not a factor. Then you just pay shipping cost and duty on the items. So +20% on automotive parts.

 

I think trailbuilt offroad does what you want. I have not worked with them at all.
