FedEx surprised me today and delivered not one or two or three but FOUR FN/Konig Countersteer Type X wheels for the 3rd gen T4R. :bananadance:

Sheitttttt, I almost shot my thumb off with my Parker crossbow once…

I don’t hunt that often now but it was quite the evening in the ER! Most modern crossbows have the thumb safety switch

I think those are the same 21lb wheels I have (if they are 17’s). I’ve liked them so far.

Actually these are 16's @ 19.6-ish lbs. Picking the wheels for the T4R was the e-z part. Now we're tire shopping - 265/75s but not E load.

This is how dumb my life is.

I somehow got my thumbnails off cycle of the rest of my fingernails when it comes to trimming.

So I’m stuck with trimming my thumbnails approx a week before my fingernails are ready.

Only solution is to grow all the fuckers out until they’re all long enough to cut at once.

But that messes with my ability to type on a keyboard (which is how I earn a living).

    So the saga continues.

10 stitches in the ER & another surgery because it was gross after 2 days. That was to sew the nail back on & about 2 years for the nail to grow back. It was like I hit my funny bone but it was my entire arm.

We used to buy some Velcro & place it on the spot you put your thumb. That was “safety” when hunting with a crossbow. Now a days there’s typically a button your thumb has to press in order to fire.

    I’d rather rifle hunt…

Be grateful if Xcel Energy isn't your power company. They're shutting down major portions of their grid (55,000 customers) thru this wind event (3pm today till at least noon tomorrow).
I guess they're gun shy after being found responsible for the Marshall fire.

Truck is a rockin' on those stands.
I strapped it to the trailer next to it and tightened it down until the suspension compressed a bit. Seems solid now.

Can you blame them? Be grateful they were proactive and didn't cause another massive wildfire.
