Love the truck, but the beeping is killing me

Picked up a 2019 Limited a few weeks back. Loving the truck. Going to schedule an OTT soon. Only thing that is killing me is how much the damn thing beeps at me. When I start the truck it beeps at me like 6 times for no apparent reason. I have the push button start and if I turn the truck off while the door is open it beeps continuously. Turned off the lane departure warning crap because of more beeping. Sometimes the truck beeps at me if the person in front of me slows down quickly, which is more of a distraction from the situation than a useful warning. The truck beeps at me more than a nagging wife. Can I turn some of this crap off? Guess I should have got a taco without the tech package.

    not enough.
the door thing is annoying. i end up closing and opening the door to stop it. i have no clue why it works and why the truck beeps at me whenever the doors open and then i stop the engine. :/

the start up beeps..i don't even notice.

i don't have the fancy tech package so, don't ahve any other beeps to worry about.

You can physically remove the beeper like in the video above, but you’ll lose the turn signal clicker if that bothers you. I agree, I don’t like all the beeping either. I don’t have an auto so no push button start, meaning none of that beeping nonsense. But I have the startup stuff and the brake stuff. You can turn off the automatic emergency braking system, but you’ll have a light on the dash and unless you hook up a dongle to turn off a setting, you’ll have to turn off AEB every time you start the truck. The setting with the dongle (using Carista or Techstream) will at least let you change the setting so that it will maintain memory. But having the light on the dash all the time for AEB disabled is annoying.

To be clear, I’m pretty sure removing the speaker from the cluster will stop the emergency braking beep as well. You will still get the automatic braking if you get close to someone and it will still put the giant red BRAKE on the screen. So you’ll solve the beeping annoyance by removing the piece. I didn’t remove that piece because I want to keep the turn signal clicker.

Pretty sure most of the beeping can be disabled via the head unit.

My left turn signal has been on since 1978. Rolling in the left lane; it’s like having the whole world to yourself.

That and just in general, all vehicles have turn signal clicks so it feels unnatural to me for it not to.

You can disable the open door and seatbelt warning chime in Techstream. I've also changed the turn signal from 3 to 4 flashes.

I'm not trying to be an ass. Do you put your seatbelt on before starting the truck? This was my worst beep which I have eliminated by disabling the switch within the seatbelt buckle latch. Yes, I wear my seatbelt, just do not like to have the truck tell me in what order to live my life with it.

You are hearing at least three different beepers: the engine compartment has one located just in front of the battery for the doors. The beeper that sounds when you get too close to someone is someplace I have not yet found.

The beeper in the dash instrument panel people have already told you about and there is no need to destroy it - the top and a disk can be removed for trying no beeping from this location. Store the parts if you'd like to put it back to stock.

I have switches on the engine compartment and instrument panel beepers. Not for daily driving but for off-road use where I do not want any sounds other than those necessary.
