TRD Pro sport does not exist

It’s either a TRD Pro or TRD Sport

There was never a 2010 Pro.
Only Pro model in a 2nd Gen was a 2015. No other years were offered in a Pro.

The Pro was only made in 2015? I could have sworn it was at least 2014-15

    2015 was the first year.

They did some Tx and Baja models before that.
But the Pro was introduced in 2015.

And with 35k miles it would be used, not new

in addition to what everyone has said
Depends on options and condition. Miles don’t make much difference on these trucks.

it’s not 3x more horsepower because of less miles.

First, do not call the thing that makes a lot of noise under the hood a motor. If it runs on fuel, it is an engine. A motor runs on electricity. Prior to Tesla, there were no motors. Steam engines. Internal combustion engines. But, no motors. He invented them for use with electricity.

I have a 2005 TRD Sport 2wd - thus, I have the 4.0l. 277k miles. Just replaced the torque converter, and she still runs like a raped ape. Provided my main seal and tranny do not fail, I'm going for the record. In my opinion, the age of a vehicle is irrelevant. It is how well it has been maintained that is way more important. Like humans, they are an electrochemical machine that need TLC.

So, not driving it is almost as bad as driving it excessively. At 35k, she probably has not had much done. Find out if she has taken it to any particular dealer for work. Ask them about maintenance records. Get the VIN and do a VIN check. Check the engine for leaks around timing chain cover and valve cover gaskets. If you don't run it, seals tend to leak. When you test drive it, check for smoke. If it is white, the main seal is bad. Another way to check is to pull the dip stick and smell the oil. If it smells like coolant, RUN! IF it is black, the rings are bad. RUN FASTER! Take it to a dealership or a mechanic you know to check it out. Go to AutoZone and have them run a code check if you don't have an OBDII reader (they are pretty cheap these days). Some codes are not always displayed right away. But, the reader will tell you it is about to throw the code. Look at the grooved part of the serpentine. If it has small cracks in the ribs, it is dry rotted and will need to be replaced. Listen to it while it is idle. Really listen. She will tell you if she is off somewhere. Loud clacking - valves need tightening. Rough idle - intake needs cleaning. Wee-ew sound when driving - U-Joints. IF the truck shakes while driving it, the wheels are out of balance. IF it shakes when you depress the brake, the rotors are warped. If it pulls to the left or right when you hit the brakes, one of the calipers has blown a seal and is not operating. It is the other side that is stopping the truck so if it pulls left, the right caliper is bad. I have bought rebuilt calipers from AutoZone several times, and they lose seals a lot. I just bought OEM calipers and will rebuild my own from now on. If you have not driven a Tacoma before, you might notice a "clunK" in the drivetrain when you stop. It is normal. It is weird and annoying but normal. Look up the threads on it. Check the frame. The 2nd gen.'s are notorious for rusted frames. There are some recalls so check to see if they have been done.

If you buy it, put a bottle of Sea Foam in the gas and oil. Run it for 1k and then change the oil. It will remove any moisture and dried oil laying around from non-use. Take it for a nice long drive at 90mph to heat up the engine. Sea Foam works better that way. Change the plugs. They are only 15k plugs. I screwed that up and caused a misfire that ruined my driver's side cat. It is truly expensive to be an idiot. Have the tranny flushed too. It has sat so there is probably moisture and more metal shavings than usual. The moving parts requiring various lubricants dry out if the vehicle is not used. The next time it is used, these dried metal parts grind before the lubricants get to them. Engines are made to run, not sit in a garage.

Finally, get a Pedal Commander. Was about to get a supercharger and came across it. Holly shirts and pants!
