Breakfast at 7; lunch at 12; dinner at 5: Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar. There are 24 vertebrae. The disc height can vary with age. If I do a lot of mild walking, it helps "pump them back up" fluid entering. 1/10th of an inch (about 2 mm) doesn't seem like a lot, but that is 2.4" of height!

My cognitive test of the day: repairing my Gaggia espresso machine. Hand tremors, fine screws, memory challenge. I need to get it back together before I wait too long. Tip: about 12 loose wires. In front of the machine in front of you, label connectors 1 through 12. Take a photo. Now, hopefully, we will get them back in the same place.

The Riding Lawnmower is acting up—electrical Gremlins after 22 years (it's an old Sear mower, still all metal). It is time to use some surplus automotive relays and switches. This is a no-cost repair; I'm not fond of Frankenstein repairs, but the price is right. OEM ignition switches and relays are $100 (ouch!).

I'm trying to get in time on my Wahoo Kirkr (indoor bike trainer). I've been using Zwift and doing group rides with friends with Parkinson's. They are an excellent group that keeps me motivated. I couldn't meet with them last year, but they met in London, took a ferry to France, and rode to Barcelona for the World Parkinsons Conference—a 1000-mile ride. So we have riders from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Norway, Germany, France, and Spain. Zwift has a neat "rubber band group ride." I ride at 160 watts, but others ride at 600 watts. Rubber band means we ride with our power thresholds. If I stop pedaling, I fall behind, so I need to keep pedaling. Thankfully, there is a "coffee break button" (i.e., go pee!), but you must resume pedaling within three minutes.

I did an endurance test, 125 watts, but you must pedal for two hours. Stop pedaling; the timer stops, so you have to pedal to that power level for 120 minutes. Oh, that was worse than a four-hour (sixty miles) ride in person. On the road, I pedal like crazy, getting up hills, but you can easily pedal and recover when going down.

Monday is eclipse day for me. Although the forecast calls for overcast skies, I still plan to sit in the backyard and observe shadows.

    Evening all:

Back from the river and the three of us managed to catch our limits. Got a first ever from that section of the river, a tiger trout which was only the 3rd one that I ever caught.

Some really nice cars again Murry!

Looks like you finally got a good nights sleep Murph, good to hear.

@ndoldman59 awesome pics from that car show !! , do you have anymore pics of that red 1966 Mercury comet / Cyclone ????

That pic of the car reminds me so much of my old 1967 Mercury Cyclone GTA that I owned in the early 1980's

This 1967 Mercury Cyclone when I bought it in 1983 had a built 390FE engine with 428 SCJ cyl heads and had a very rare hard to find 406 Ford 3x2 intake . The oval air cleaner on the 3x2 intake looked almost like it was a 427 side oiler

    Nice.
We Have a white Pantara in the collection. I call it a series one cause it has the push button door handles. I can’t drive this one cause the pedals are to close together. The black one we had I could.

This is it. I'm kinda disappointed I know I took 2 other ones from the other side.. The earlier pics I had that white roadrunner with the coyote on the missile I know I took a few of the whole car that was the only one that saved. There was a black 71 cuda that was a Jem also . A good friend when I was just out of HS had a 71 or 72 cuda at the time he knew was a rare one. It was a factory sleeper that had 383 magnum badging on it. But an odd hood that had a stupid looking raise that had 383 6 pack on it, on the back of the car right under the "cuda' " badge it had a small square Hemi badge. That thing was wild. Under the hood was the 426 duel quad hemi. He sold it to a guy that was a collector and our high school auto shop teacher after he met a gal he fell in love with.

Rough night! Winds 30-50 mph rattling the house all night. A bit calmer this morning, but tough sleeping.
Oh well, another day to start fresh. Winds slowed to 15-35 mph and hopefully less by noon. Good day to stay inside and piddle in the garage or man cave.
    Have a great day!

    Morning all:

Not a Ford expert, but it looks like a SOHC 427 motor in that comet judging by the spark plug location, RARE!

Yesterday I attacked the pool planting bed. I removed 4 creeping junipers, raked out all the old mulch and amended the soil with 10 cubic feet of garden soil. Today I planted liriopi and Hawaiian Ti plants. Had to replace the pump in the fountain too. IMG_3223.jpg

That left me feeling sorry for the junipers so I made a bed long the side of the house and replanted them.
    IMG_3224.jpg

Put down 11 bags of mulch between the two areas. I’m so doggone tired I can’t wait to go back to work tomorrow and rest.
