Hey everyone! Could use some help on how to quiet this noise. I purchased a 2021 SR5 Tacoma recently, love the truck! I know these trucks aren’t the quietest of rides and that it’s a truck but over the last week I’ve noticed a creak when slightly lifting on the steering wheel or when hitting bumps and pin pointed it tonight! It’s very tricky to get a picture but if you look up from under where the pedals are there is a metal bracket that mounts to the body. I put my hand on it and felt it creak. there seems to be one bolt holding it and it felt snug - no play, I just don’t know how to quiet it down and it’s so tricky to get a true picture of what I’m talking about. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m hesitant to bring it back to the dealer because it’s hours away and would like to try and trouble shoot this myself. Thanks!

Would anyone have a diagram for behind the steering wheel behind the dashboard so that I could better explain location?
