I was doing an oil pan and valve cover gaskets replacement on my 2003 Toyota Tundra today and everything went smoothly for the most part. I put it all back together and filled it with oil and started it up and it ran but it ran rough and even sounded like maybe misfiring but don’t quote me on that. I looked around to see if I had missed anything and the only thing I can find is a vacuum hose that wasn’t connected (shown in picture attached) it was connected to part of the upper intake runners and I’m not 100% sure what it’s for or how it connects and I broke one of the hoses in the process of finding out as well. Anyone know what this part in the picture is where the vacuum hoses connect? Any ideas on why it is idling and running rough? IMG_9675.jpg
