I got a new rack and pinion under 20,000 miles ago, noticed it leaking: is this what it looks like? My power steering hasn’t gone down. I feel like it should have lasted much longer and I am now looking at having to replace everything again through a mechanic. Any advise ?upload_2024-4-6_19-51-13.jpg

    What rack?

You could clean and re evaluate. Maybe peel back or poke the bolt to verify.

It was a factory one. It’s leaking right there by where the rubber meets the metal, when I turn the wheel.

this is what it looked like on Monday, is it possible that it’s getting worse that quick?
