That's the theory behind the bags. Maneuverability and no pump to keep your hands free. A lot of people like those bags, first time I used them I made a big f'ing mess. Practice makes perfect I guess, esp since I don't think Amsoil sells gear lube in bottles anymore.

You may want to look into this. If they persist.

that sucks. glad you're ok, my cynical side wishes for more damages on the other driver though--suing them is like getting wine from a rock...

interesting to note, i once got into a long-winded conversation with my insurance guy about uninsured motorist coverage. something i had never realized, one must stop the person, and the officers must ticket the other driver for not having insurance for the uninsured coverage to apply. otherwise, it's just a typical comprehensive claim...

years ago, i watched a vblog series where it talked to supercar owners about their insurance needs, and many discussed how much of a hassle it is that they need to carry both uninsured as well as under-insured coverage due to so many other drivers not having enough insurance coverage to deal with hitting a 2 million dollar super car. it's become a major issue, though given the costs vehicles now, even a non-supercar is getting to that point where someone could easily not have enough coverage to deal with it!

Just some decals on the bed and tailgate. I saw chains hanging off the receiver on a rough country installation video (I was browsing some hitches) and I kinda like how it looks so bought 1 foot chains.

Bought a 2” receiver with a D ring shackle at the RC site just to fill the hole. Should have it hopefully this week

Got my Topper Tent! Initial install was worth doing because I am already learning how I will like to have it.

It is still loose on the sides because I have not installed the Velcro on the sides of the bed yet. I need to get bed stiffeners first before doing that.

Installed RXT leaf springs in the back and KSP strut spacers on the front. I've got the 886 coils and nitrocharger shocks on all 4. Still wanted a little more height in front to match the rear. After settling, all corners sit just under 2" higher than it was before. (Freedom Off Road UCA's will be delivered this week)

    Before new leafs and spacers:

Hauled a gantry crane and a engine crane home with mine last week. Had to lift my boat off the trailer to repair some hull damage.

Man I love those OEM SR rims. My SR5 has black sporty rims and i don't like them, they don't look trucky at all.

Had my rust proofed at Ziebart. Ive read lots of bad reviews online but I am not internet guy myself so I did chose oil spray option and will see how it goes.

Its like thick oil coating, almost like tar but never dries. Was 1k $ for 3 years and will need touch up in 3 years which will cost around 100-200$.

Will see how it will hold up, I had my 2003 4runner rusted out and I will never let rust get on my frame again.

Did you guys know that Tesla is literally only manufacturer that's 100% made in USA? Tell that to Ford drivers, Tesla is real American manufacturer.

All the brands are made from parts globally sourced. They’re not made, but assembled in the spot that they say they’re made. It’s been like that for awhile now.
