    Can’t determine issue - 2007 Tacoma 4x4 .. won’t start .
New battery it solved issue for a week , then new starter this solved issue for a week . Now we again can’t start truck ! Installed a new ignition switch , new starter relay , new neutral safety switch , new battery terminals and nothing !
Radio stays on when key removed from ignition . Checked all fuses under hood .
Starter not getting power ! Battery power not being pulled - remains charged to 12.4 v.
Dash lights up , windows work but nothing when I try to start !
I’m at my wits end … threw code P 0705 but even after I replaced NSS - code remains .
Any help- ideas - suggestions would be soooo appreciated.

    I see @Dm93 in here.
He can point you to his thread.

    Few questions.

Did you get the NSS aligned right when you installed it?

Are there more than one, or no lights showing to indicate what gear you are in?

Do you know how to read wiring diagrams?

Will the truck start in Neutral?

Thank you for wiring diagram .. I’ll share with my mechanic as all this is new to me - I’m learning as I go here .
The truck won’t crank in neutral or park .
I’ll check on lights showing as to which gear .
I had mechanic install the NSS so I’m assuming it’s aligned correctly - you can shift from park into all gears .

If you haven't solved your issue yet try running an extra ground cable from the negative terminal of the battery to one of the starter motor mounting bolts. Had a similar issue on a 2016 camry and the extra ground cable did the trick.

If you’re doing that wouldn’t jeepcables be better. And/or the nice ground that comes in SDHQ terminals kit

I suppose that would work as well. My friend works at an industrial scrap yard and gave me thick gauge insulated copper wire with eyelets through the ends for the bolts to go through. Worked well. Some of the jeep cables look similar. Any good insulated copper wire should work though.

OP report back if you can, let us know if this works for you.
