fender armor?

    seems common in Australia. Forget what they call them.
    ARB has some that clamp to bull bar with fencing clamps.

    problem is theirs entail connection to their step bars that have the reputation of being strong as tinfoil.
    Nobody here uses that. People use sliders.

    just saw these pics of a different method. Bolt on.
    Bolt onto seems straightforward.

    could curve a mount and drill holes into front curved tube of slider. But concern would be sealing, rust, water, moisture. Maybe make a gasket from scratch. Drilling drain holes would open entry to moisture internal corrosion that can never be sandblasted instead of keep the slider tube closed and sealed.

    don’t know how one would bolt onto a US slider. They’re curved, not flat.

    Counterpoint, heard these are just damage multipliers, not needed, and having zero brace at the middle makes it weak and prone to bend under heavy contact and wreck the fender. Singular points of contact at bumper and slider may not be strong.

    However, this truck says Expert on the door, so it must be.

    Judging by the pics, they’ve been strong enough to handle open sandy flat ground. Open snowy flat ground. Even open muddy flat ground.

    Maybe it would work. And the rear. Less intense than an exo cage.
    Jeeps have it in the form of their fenders.

    Looking at doing Bronco Peak. Apparently there's a rock that tries to bash everyone's side.
    With sliders and bumpers, fenders are pretty much the only naked thing.
