Truck lurch after hard braking

2008 Tacoma SR5

2008 Taco 4.0L 4X4 220K miles, automatic transmission

When I have to come to a hard stop, like today when I almost missed a turn, the truck will come to a stop then after a very slight pause it will lurch forward. Not going anywhere but it feels like the transmission does that. Does anyone have an idea what would cause that?
