I ran an inflatable for years. Thing is, as soon as you run air jets it instantly cools the water and then takes another day to get back to temperature. They were easy to clean at least and one didn't have to worry about the plumbing hiding stagnant yuck (a win over the ancient fiberglass tubs of my youth.)

I've been awfully tempted by one of those 110V rotomolded tubs lately. The brochure claims it retains heat like no other, and won't rack up a huge electric bill. I have been wondering what they're really like.

I wouldn't be willing to drop a new 240 line just for a tub.

Stop drinking coffee and tequila or switch to tequila in the morning and coffee afternoons.

240 is more efficient than 110. Mine costs about a dollar a day in electricity, averaged out over the months. This is pretty typical, based on average electric rates. Anyone who tells you anything less is bullshitting you, and you can't trust them. I had one guy tell me that it would cost less than $100 for a full year.
