I guess I would have never thought of doing something like that. Even more frustrating would be if that was done by someone I paid for work like that.

Same with me. I can pretty much sleep anywhere.
You got me there. I don't remember the last time I had a dream. It's been years.

Now that I have a smart watch that tracks my sleep I've been going to bed and getting up at more consistent times. Even on the weekends where I would usually stay up entirely too late and sleep in, I've been in bed at 10:00 and up before 6:00 without an alarm.

I started lifting weights again this weekend so everything hurts and I'm worn out when I'm done so I'm sure that's played into being tired and going to bed earlier that usual, too.

I’m at the point where it doesn’t bother me anymore. If I’m tired the next day, I’m more likely to sleep better that night. It all equals out.

Works for me but then again I’m not operating machinery or welding stuff…

BTW, it’s called mid-cycle awakening. It’s normal and there’s all sorts of strategies to try out to help mitigate. Here’s one hit from Johns Hopkins:

No, because the PT lumber shrinks when dry even if its out on a deck. It basically water logged with chemicals and moisture when you get the lumber from store.

On the subject of porches, I’ve had an unwanted visitor. Just when I thought I closed in the ceiling in time. IMG_6468.jpg IMG_6463.jpg
