That's not something I ever noticed before, but since the Peddle commander is essentially just a throttle adjuster I don't think it would address that issue.

Try driving it in S5 all the time, it doesn't do the 'learning' in S mode. Allegedly.

Have you tried the ECT button to see if it shifts more to your liking?

I think more than anything, what I’m most unsettled about and I hope I’m not becoming obsessive is really just the downshift in rpm when coming to a stop. The vehicle shakes and it just doesn’t feel natural at all to me. Got an appointment with the dealer tomorrow.

Okay - so I have in pointed my “situation” and from what you guys are telling me, this is normal behavior, and I believe you! I may not go to the dealership tomorrow and just wait it out and get used to it.

What I am experiencing is upon braking, today I noticed that from going, then to a full stop my rpm’s drop to around 500, maybe a hair more, this in return is making the cab vibrate. If this is a normal RPM upon a complete stop, not in park, then I’m gonna just roll with it as everything else feels just fine!

another +1 on the tune. I got the OTT and it helps a lot. For me, the benefit is mainly the transmission tuning. It upshifts and downshifts at a much more tolerable rate than it did OEM. You may also benefit from a shift sense pro. I used that for a while but decided to get the tune.

As far as vibrations it could be many things. Do you feel it in your steering wheel, your seat, the floorboards, etc?

The transmission isn't the real problem. An engine that needs 4600 rpm to get torque is the problem. The transmission is struggling to keep the truck in the right gear to keep the truck in its power band. Lock out the higher gears unless you're on the open road and doing a steady 60+ mph. Even then it's going to downshift a lot sooner and a lot more often than older trucks that can get some power at much lower rpm's.
