    Hey All,

    Few questions for you:

I have a 2021 4wd long bed SR5 with a Leer Cap and I recently picked up some 265/70/16 to put on.

With my current suspension, lightweight sleeping/board rack build in the back and the fiberglass cap, my suspension seems to be sagging in the rear. Im also looking to pick up a small trailerable boat for the summer and want to make sure im good to tow short distances around town.

I found a 2 sets of suspension online both at great prices and i need help deciding which to go with assuming ill need an AAL in the rear. I plan to use my stock coils
    - take offs from a 2023 TRD front and back
    - new B8 5100 bilstien shock absorbers front and back. not the adjustable ones.

I realize i could probably get an AAL and call it a day, but I wouldnt mind raising her up an inch

Is it worth swapping my current for the TRD suspension?
Will the non adjustables still give me a little lift?

Thanks for any suggestions or input

The TRD stock suspension will not lift your sr5 at all. What TRD suspension is it? Offroad (yellow/blue)will be softer Sport (lighter blue)will be stiffer. 5100's will not lift suspension, or help with rear sag. An AAL is a temporary solution with weight you have on/in bed. Full leaf pack is the way to go, or air bags.

Like @na8rboy said.. swapping rear shocks don't lift your Taco. Depending on your budget I'd recommend going with either:

    • A new leaf pack (~$800 to ~$1200).
    • A multi-leaf AAL (add-a-leaf) solution for ~$250.

I've had the Headstrong AAL for 5 years and it works well for me. I'm lifted ~2".
