Yes I have read thru all the threads here regarding fog-lamps, headlights, etc. This thread is about CLEARWATER LIGHTS. It is not about cut off lights that prevent oncoming driver blindness or glare. It is not about slinging around insults to make oneself feel bright. Pun intended. It’s about having a safe trip there and back home. It’s about others seeing you coming from a distance and NOT making a turn into you. I have been in a couple of head on collisions and lost several close friends to collisions. I firmly suggest that anyone who wants to increase their probability of driving safely without incident to ignore the multitude of self claimed experts on this website and stop by Clearwater and talk to Glenn personally. Have him show you their incredible lights. After you drive around at night with the ability to see EVERYTHING in your path for the very first time you will never be the same. You will UNDERSTAND what I am talking about! And you will think twice about following some Internet personality with a hidden agenda.

    Trust your eyes, not forums.

OK all you haters that have nothing better to do with your time, it’s your turn, bring it on!

Wow. Apparently you fail to comprehend anything about automotive lighting safety, and by what you say so does the Clearwater brand.

Blinding other drivers with illegal non-compliant lights that lack cut offs on public roads does not give you a safe trip, it makes you a dangerous hazard to everyone else on the road which is exactly why automotive SAE lighting standards exist. You are literally the problem. You know what creates head on collisions? People not being able to see because they are blinded by the oncoming vehicles illegal lights. If your representation here is of that of Clearwater's company line, they are clearly a brand that lacks any credibility whatsoever and should certainly be avoided.

If I can drive with my eclipse glasses and these lights on, they get a thumbs up from me.

My apologies. I thought it was Friday.

I have Clearwater lights on 2 Yamaha FJR1300's and will swear by them. I've also had a pair of Denali D2D 2 stage lights on my last FJR1300 which were decent. Clearwatersaare hugely popular in the long distance riding/iron butt motorcycle community. For bikes Clearwater offers ride in installation appointments. Their installation instructions come with clear color photos to guide you thorough installing your own for folks that choose to do so. What install issues I did run into on my 2014 were a combination of user error and a typo in the installation instructions I was sent. I called them up and was put on straight with Glenn at Clearwater and he walked me through the issue and we determined the instruction error being an incorrect photo in the instructions which he was having fixed immediately.

Pic with all lights at 100% power with the high beams on. These were properly aimed in a shop and I rarely, if ever, have anyone flash me under normal use on low beam.

And as for the people around here who just buy the cheapest chinese bullshit to fit their needs, with no affiliation to the companies you're talking about, we see the way those companys' representatives interact with members and grow to respect them. While Clearwater lights have their own place in the market, we could care less about what you're offering. There's a process and rules in place for this forum to become a vendor/promote personal youtube videos, so learn your audience before you come in spouting stupid stuff to try and make a sale. If you want respect, earn it; welcome to the internet.

    Sincerely,
a guy that buys cheap Chinese shit and isn't pushing any brands' agenda with this response.

Add Johnny boy to the list of LED vendors to not buy from.

And yet, here you are. On a forum, slinging You Tube advertisements.

You're kinda new here. Ever consider that the folks around you may be well credentialed to test and rank products based on actual industry standards?

Seems like a little wannabe cry out here.

Hey, I'm not saying Clearwater lights are bad. I lived in Clearwater 35 years (whoops, wrong topic)

All anyone here is saying you've brought no comparative evidence to the table. Just fluff.
