Yeah, the nuke guy was an interesting one, lol.

There seemed to be a lot of brand new posters just stirring up shit, possibly people who keep getting banned or ignored or something. Just a lot of noise among the already heated discussion.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

And many people never go in that part of the forum. So they maybe post this in an area of the site they are familiar with.

At the end of the day, what the hell does it matter? We've talked about the 4G Tacoma in the 1G threads, there is talk about the 6G 4 Runner there as well. There is talk about solid axle in the Long Travel threads and visa versa. There is talk about garage, workshop, tools (which has a specific area on this Forum) in, probably 3/4 of threads in this Forum.

If you don't want to add anything to this thread, why are you here?

Talking about this or that in related posts makes sense. There are lots of people talking about the 4 runner in multiple Tacoma based posts here (including the OP). Crazy to say l'm here to talk about 4g Tacomas.

Don’t ask a question that you don’t want to hear an answer to.

You asked a question that had a very, very, obvious answer.

With your “logic”, why have any means of organization or specificity?

I’m not familiar with the diaper section at the store but if I wanted to buy a pack of diapers, I sure as hell wouldn’t be looking in the produce section just because I’m more familiar with it.

Lmao... don't act as though you know what I do and don't want to hear.

The thread is about the 6G 4 Runner. Do you want to add something? Or do you just want to make random comments about nothing?

For me it comes down to:

Taco backseat is unacceptably small but has the manual trans option.

4Runner backseat is appropriately-sized but no manual trans option.

Guess I’m gonna stick with the Bronco.

Some well funded YT'er needs to crossbreed a new taco MT with a new 4runner and do the thing Toyota won't.

I can see that simple things are difficult for you to understand. Maybe one day you’ll understand to not ask a question if you don’t want to hear the answer.

To me, what I see of the 4 Runner, in general. Toyota is really letting go of the market share of those who want an "Off-Road capable" vehicle to Jeep and Ford. They seem to be continuing their trend toward the cool soccer Mom crowd.

It's sad, because they did incorporate some cool features. A 9.5 locking rear diff is available. Which is a really capable diff, based on a tried and true axle. Factory available Fox or Old Man Emu suspension. But, at this point, I think there are more and more buyers that wont even, fully, understand what that even is.

I don't really have an opinion on the offering a manual trans. To me, a 4wd should be used as a 4wd. And my opinion is a manual transmission has a very limited place on the trail. The VAST majority of people who have a manual 4wd don't know how to drive it in places where the 4wd is necessary.

But I do think there is something to be said in at least OFFERING a manual to those who want one. But I guess that is in the engineering. Who knows what the production costs of that may be. But if the Tacoma and 4Runner share as much as is said in the power train, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to incorporate it in to the 4 Runner. Maybe that is something that will come later.

    LOL.

    Simple to understand?

You mean, like, this is a thread about 6th Gen 4Runners? What does your post have to do with a 6th Gen 4 Runner?
