Wisconsin area events- THIS WEEKEND: kayak camping.

Okay-I know I cannot wait until August to go play at Tigerton. My schedule is a mess until then; except for, Sunday JUNE 9th!! I am working the 8th in the Minocqua area, so drop trailer and go. Will stay over that night at Tigerton. Need play mates... Dan @Taco-Grinder is in for the day. Others??? I am going to reserve a a site today.

 

Makes me think of Wendy O Williams (except no electrical tape).

 

Sounds like fun. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to be in NC that weekend. If something happens and that doesn't work out, I'll come by.

 

I have site 65 for the night of June 9th at Tigerton.

 

I'm good for Sunday and I'm taking Monday off so I don't have to rush back, if anything.
Overnight is in the air for now but not off the table.

 

I am checking with my activities coordinator about coming up to play.

 

From what I hear, it's generally pretty dead on Sundays. I'd be interested. I'd like to camp and go home Monday night, but I might have to stick to a day trip.

 

I told my wife about that weekend and all she said was,"Goodbye".

 

Can another 4Runner be tolerated? Will bring grocery and soft drinks/h2o. Pulling in from Ohio and tent camping. Possible street cred: Made the Wyalusing trip a couple

years back and had a blast!

 

All I know is people that go where @pearing goes, tend to break things.
Hopefully I didn't draw the short straw.

It's the wife's birthday that weekend......I'll chip away and maybe get a day trip out of it.......maybe....

 

What could be a better present than a nice scenic (and bumpy, and possibly slightly scratchy) drive through the woods?
