Good evening looking for help with something. I’m trying to install a LED tailgate light to my 2023 Tacoma. So far I want by the colors , blue on blue , yellow on yellow , green on green , red reverse but not sure where the white goes. They are 3 white wires. And when I turn on the lights they come on. But when I use turn signal right doesn’t work left kind of works , when I hit the breaks reg breaks work but the led wont. Reverse lights come on as well. Sorry for the confusion just looking for help

Hey OP, I’m a bit confuse with your explanation lol.
But it’s pretty simple base on the picture you provided. All white wire from light go to ground. Right Black wire from light to turn right/brake. Left black wire from light to turn left/brake. If your light has a reverse wire, connect that to reverse. If your light has a wire for running light, connect that to running.

since you are connecting it to the trailer connector, your turning signal and brake will share. If you are braking and signal left. Your right light will remain on and left light will blink. If signal right, your left light will stay on and left light will blink.

If your light doesn’t have a wire for running light, it will act very weird and not function correctly. My light did that. The light just turn on, brake & signal didn’t do anything. I just don’t connect the running wire on the trailer connector. It turn out that I actually like this better lol.
