hey guys... the video I have linked above is one i took on my phone in the morning, of my 4.0 cold started. the wine/squeal is very loud. i have been trying to pinpoint its exact location for some time now and have been searching the internet for any similar noise with no luck.
i have replaced one idler pulley, belt, and alternator all in the last year and this noise keeps getting progressively worse . Using my stethoscope the noise is the same from basically every component on the front of the engine (where it resonates the loudest). so its difficult for me to call any one component. it goes away with rpm increase when driven and when you turn the steering wheel it doesn't change either. if the engine is at operating temp and you let it idle for a few minute the noise will return...was hoping someone out there would have some ideas of what my truck is screaming about. please for the love of all things holy its embarrassing listening to this thing at this point lmfao

Replace all the idler pulleys and tensioner pulley as well.

That is most likely my next step, but iv just been hesitant cause i have never heard a pulley make this sort of noise before.. going to run it with the belt off tmo just to make sure

Replace all idler bearing like Steveo stated. If the noise continue replace the AC clutch.

    Form follows function
Apply soapy water to each pulley and listen for change in pitch/noise level. Soap will lubricare the squeaky one/ones.
