Been looking all around for wheels after I did my lift about a month ago and couldn’t really decide what I would get. Was looking at some kmcs, methods, and scs but out of nowhere I stumbled upon these bad boys with ko2s on marketplace. They were priced way too good to be true, well I guess not. Never thought I would be able to reasonably afford these wheels. So stoked man I look forward to joining this thread.

The best option available, in my biased opinion.... not to mention these things are an appreciating asset lol.

I grew up with imports. It’s pretty much mandatory that I put JDM wheels on my truck lol

Need to get some better pics but TEXT 16x8 0 offset. Powdercoated white with 265/75/16s Falkens. Need to buy black stickers and center caps and the look will be complete.

How many of you all keep a spare wheel? I have a set of 5 but buddy wants to buy my spare. Wondering if I’ll regret it but I know my spec isn’t discontinued either.

I keep a MK8 as a spare under the truck.even if I had a swing out, no way would I flex an expensive wheel back there.
But also, mods are a sunk cost, if you don’t need the money, keep it.

Im only running 4 TEs. I currently have the factory 16 inch spare but I'm planning on buying a similar spec spare (17x8.5 -10) in a cheap wheel. Debating between SCS F5 or Nomad Convoy

if it were me, I’d let it collect dust since I have the space.
Your friend can buy a new one :)

but also me..: set on 35”s, which will go on the truck soon, then I’ll keep my other set on 33s as a spare.

Did the standard outer flange rings work for you? I was about to order a set of rings from US Wheel Adapters and ran into the same hiccup. I'm not exactly sure what they mean by the flange. The page says if you're unsure to order the "half flange" option, but it also says most aluminum are standard.

Hoping in the next few weeks I can get the Rays that just came in from JP on my truck. Not TEs, but the newer ALAP07X series. Decided on 33" AT4Ws, which I just had mounted.

These will be going on a 4th gen. But ran into a similar snag as a lot of the Tundra guys - the 14x1.5 setup on the new truck has shorter studs. I wasn't satisfied with the thread engagement, so I've got a set of the KYO-EI +10mm studs coming in from Japan as well, hopefully in the next week or two.

Another issue that some others here have mentioned are the hub rings, the new trucks are now 95.1 instead of 106. The center caps designed for these wheels push through the inside, and have an ID of 106 (the wheels themselves are 112). So they worked perfect on a 3G but are large on a 4G. I'll have to see if I can use a 106 to 95.1 hub ring in conjunction with the center caps. If not, maybe a custom front-mounted solution with an o-ring.

Hah, good eye. Nice wheels reserved for the Taco. GT4 can keep the stock stuff. Haven't even gotten it out this summer, still on the winter set. Poor thing has been collecting dust.
