I am all over the place on which speakers to buy. I have enjoyed JBL coaxial speakers in the past. I have never had a car that used an in dash tweeter before. So my dilemma is should I go with coaxial 6x9 in the front with new tweeter in the dash, or should I go with a component 6x9 and use that tweeter as the replacement in the dash. Either way I plan on using coaxial 6.5" in the back. I will be using a 55 W/RMS/Ch Amp. I realize that this is very much an opinion based question, but that is what I am looking for. So my question is- Does having a coax 6x9 with a tweeter in the dash cause there to be too much high frequency sound ? Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to this.

Component set with the tweeter in the dash, for sure

most people that do coaxials in the door and new tweeters in the dash complain about too much in the highs. Makes it harsh.
