A man told me when I was a teenager “show me someone who doesn’t make a mistake and I’ll show you someone not doing anything”.

We all make em, just got to fix it and move on :fistbump:

The road and bottom of the driveway is now about 18" higher, back to where it was before 25 years of grading. This view is looking south. The end of the driveway had developed a heavy pitch to the left over the years as the road got cut lower, this made plowing difficult at times.

    KIMG3912.jpg

Improved ditch between the driveway and house, you can see the driveway is flatter now.

    KIMG3904.jpg

When these fellows replace a pipe they don't mess around, 18" diameter.

    KIMG3908.jpg

The drain end with some rocks for erosion control.

    KIMG3911.jpg

Looking south towards the "main" dirt road.

    KIMG3907.jpg

    Further down the same view.

They are good, he was 2 weeks yesterday, that flew. Momma is good, still not sleeping much with the natural feeding she's doing but he's growing and everything else is tracking. I'm ok, overtime the last two days is nice, work has been pretty slow overall. I didn't renew my hunting lease, price jumped up to $4800 which is crazy but driven by Osceola turkey demand, lots of people with more money than sense belong to Florida leases just for the turkeys.

Depending on how quickly the weather travels, yours become mine fairly soon after.

    Thanks for the forecasts

Yeah, we’re under Flood and Flash Flood Warnings up here.

I could tell it was going to be a significant rain because yesterday I saw they drained the Moore Reservoir down to it’s lowest I’ve seen in years.
