I can't get to my truck to measure it (and wouldn't remember the distance tomorrow if I measured it tonight), but based on the hole being 3/4" diameter, and with what I know about design of metallic structure parts (25 years as a structures analyst in aerospace, worked on stuff from Space Shuttle to F22 to the Webb Space Telescope), I'd bet that it's 4 inches, give or take 1/2" from the surface of the steel tub to the end of the lugs. I can't remember if any of the retained plastic might stick out farther than the steel tub though.

Weird question: Does anyone who has one of these know if it will fit with a Gen 3 TRD Pro skid? I am running a gen 2 Tacoma with a gen 3 skid, and am interested in a US Offroad winch mount, but might go another route if I cant retain the skid. I know it works with the gen 2 skids, see some pics of that on this thread.

Post a pic of your skid. Probably work just fine. Our mount bolts up to the subframe under the radiator, no further back.

Not my truck/ pic, but my exact setup. you can see the TRD Pro skid curls up a but over the support.

Probably fine, you can see with this photo the line it follows from front to the mounting points underneath. Typically there is no interference with skids on any of our mounts.

Those skids are thin so it would be easy enough to bend or trim if it doesn't clear the bumper.

Good call, I was thinking the same thing, it looks like it will clear and if it doesnt I can take a jigsaw to the 1/4" aluminum on the top edge to trim if needed. I dont have the means to bend, as of now.
