Pool parts rip off

    Chasing some potential leaks in our pool system. We have Pentair/Ortega diverter valves with leaks around the diverter handles out of the top of the valve. They are original, and I see that a handful of pool supply sites sell drop in replacements. So I ordered those. But man... What they are charging for screws is INSANE:

    I reached out both of these sites, and they confirmed that was the price per screw. I need a total of 8. Whoever buys these from them must be f'in dumb as rocks.

    McMaster-Carr sells the same screw @14$ for 100 of them.

    Agreed. The valves are ridiculous as well.. $75-100 for 2” valves.
