    Hello TW,

My name is Ben and I am the owner of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma SR5 3.4L 4x4 w/ a camper shell. It has 305k miles but I am trying to take care of the engine/transmission and haven’t beaten it up off-road yet. I do not have any prior mechanical automotive experience beside basic maintenance but would like to rebuild this pickup truck into a reliable overland vehicle. It does have quite a bit of rust as it lived in Pennsylvania along the salted roads much of it’s life, but it still runs great here on it’s second wind in California. There have been no modifications done besides new wheels and tires and I’m excited to begin putting some elbow grease into this build-out.

Happy Friday everybody - any suggestions, questions, or comments are appreciated!
