I have a 2009 Tacoma and lately it has had a problem where sometimes when it gets high in rpms when I stomp on it the engine will cut out for just a second sometimes a few times in a row til I let off, what would cause this, MAF? Throttle body?

Clogged air filter. Also worn out or oil coated spark plugs. I want to say a bad coil but I think that would generate CEL.

Could also be a clogged fuel pump filter. No CEL?

Random guy: How many rpm’s that thing turning?
    Me: All of them :D

Yes, it was indeed a real conversation.
The answer was “about 13k rpm”. But track secrets are track secrets.
Never give out information to those you don’t know.

Hey guys, thought I’d revive this and see if you had anymore info, So eventually it got worse and worse to the point where it would very often cut out when accelerating, and soon after, wouldn’t start, obvious bad fuel pump, replaced the fuel pump, fired right up but was cutting out again, heard a weird noise at the fuel pump, determined there was a vacuum leak and sealed it up, then it was running great, I thought. Now it cuts out only every once in a while when accelerating at random rpm’s, only happens like once a drive but still bugs me, after this extra info, what should I try next? Do you think it’s a vacuum leak? Bad spark plugs? Bad coil? I ran some injector cleaner through it and I’m gonna replace the MAF just cause it’s cheap but what do you guys think?

You checked the fuel pump relay?.. I don’t know how it happened , but I went to start my truck one morning on the way out hunting and it would fire, just cranked. Popped the hood , opened the fuse box and the relay was like half sticking up‍♂️, pushed it down and away I went
