3rd Gen Quicksand thread

You have a one-of-a-kind interior for sure! One of the things I've enjoyed about owning my Tacoma has been making it 'my own' and learning from others on this forum.

I admit that I never have been happy with the dash cover, and the guy who did my interior doors, etc, could have very easily [for him!] also done my dash with the same vinyl, but it would of course, require him to completely take the dash out, to do it right, and while I am confident he could put it all back in, connecting everything back up, etc, I didn't really want it taken apart that bad, and I couldn't do without my truck for a couple of weeks while he did it! And while I liked the wood grain dash in the beginning, I admit that I am not liking it as much as I did, but most of it is still there though!

Same. 4th gen has been growing on me, as is the 6th gen 4Runner. Wife’s daily is a 5th gen, so adding another runner is unlikely. If Toyota continues as they’ve done in the past and carries over that Mud Slide color to non-pro models, I might be departing ways with my quicksand to a 4th gen taco. The bronze oxide looks good to. Need to see it in person though.

 

Aye...fellow QS owners. Looking to see if anyone has found those cup holder inserts, with the colored lining, the ones you find on Amazon... but in QS color? Seems like they have every other color but QS.

Hey guys, side note how do I upload photos so they aren't so massive and full size is there a way to do that?

 

Looking at trading in my truck for a 2019 Limited in Quicksand if they can get the numbers where I want them. Anybody else have the brown interior like the one I’m looking at? I haven’t seen many in that configuration.

Would be great to have a double cab and 4x4 (even though I don’t need it),just wish I could keep the long bed since I finally found an ARE topper for a great deal. Anyone have any qualms with their short beds?

 

Love this color, I might even like it more than MGM when the accents on the truck are blacked out. Some people have these things looking like little MRAPs
