Hi all. Have a 2016 4cyl that has recently started making this weird grinding/rattling noise when cranking up. It goes away after about a minute. Can’t find any other videos with this exact sound. Have also popped the hood open and still am unsure. Any advice or direction is appreciated! (Side note- check engine light was for a bad cat converter which has been replaced and is still making the sound)

Try getting a long PVC pipe and put your ear at one end and have someone else start the truck as you carefully poke around. This how I try to find the location of a strange sound.
