I drive with mine on most of the time because of the dark areas off the side of the road. The wide beams are amazing.

The sports arent crazy overpowering which is nice when I'm coming over a hill and they hit a street sign or another car.

Just an fyi about the Sport model. If you drive in snow or sleet conditions the Sport does not create enough heat to melt the snow. The Pro and Max produce enough heat to keep snow and ice from building up on the lenses. Personally, the Pro is my minimum choice for that reason alone. The Sport is still very good!! But the price difference is about $100 but for my winter conditions that's well worth the price. There isn't another option at $300ish (closer to $250 with the upcoming sales FYI) that will come close to the Pro model. Dollar for dollar they can't be beat and even by performance standards by lights almost double their price they can't be beat.

Ive had them with plenty of snow and only ran into that with some bad clumpy snow once. It will happen don't get me wrong... but I also like the tighter beam of the sports and the price. That extra $$ went to the wet okele neoprene seat covers. Makes it easy when I have to get out to clear the snow off of my fog lights and get back in the truck wet lol. :D

    A tip.....

If you have a pair of "brown/amber" sunglasses.....wear them in poor weather.

I learned this by accident. I was on a motorcycle road trip. Wearing my prescription brown lens sunglasses when I encountered heavy rain. My bike does not have fog lights. I stopped under the first overpass to put on my rain gear. Took off the sunglasses and noticed there was much less visibility. Now, sunglasses are used day or night when the weather and visibility suffer.

I have amber/polarized sunglasses that I use for driving and fishing. Love them :)

Yes, I always use amber polarized goggles when skiing on overcast or snow days. It makes a world of difference in seeing the shape of the terrain.

I am impressed with how much the yellow dominates the white light here. I have Amber leds in my stock housings and outside of 20 feet the headlights dominate.

Yellow will always be better than amber. Amber has a limiting factor of intensity compared to color temperature, and the fact that they are drop in LEDS is going to make a terrible beam. I tried drop-ins already and went with the DD fogs lol. The Diode dynamic beam is extremely wide and focused which is great. It makes it easy to see the driveway when coming home at night. For reference, my headlights are 4600k color temp. The camera makes them look a little cleaner white than they actually are.

I would offer that the color of the light has less to do with your deficient range issue than the LED bulbs in your stock fog light housings. LED bulbs in a housing designed for halogens just don't have any usable range. They may look bright, but that's just glare, not usable light.

Should be yellow to cut thru the fog, and also its good for driver to focus on road, white light is known to fatigue eye. BUT since in today's market people are extremely dumb and care about looks only, manufacturers put white LED lights as fog lights, which will be useless in real life situation compared to yellow lights.

Not only fog but in general, yellow headlights were a thing for a reason, white tires the eye.
