Dealer want to charge this BS. Never heard of this. It covers registration if i get pulled over before i register it. All i did before is show the purchase contract if it came to that. Anyone ever get this fee dismissed?

    New one to me.
I thought that's what the temporary tag was for?

I just looked. My state TN, charges $10 for a temporary tag.
I have never been charged the fee when I purchased a vehicle.
Maybe the dealer just "ate" the $10 fee. (Reality is, I bought it....... It just isn't listed)

BS charge, sure, but it's not the dealer's fault if that's the state law. I don't know where you are at, but I was looking into buying a motorcycle down in Cali and found you pretty much have to pay sales tax and a trip permit just to buy a bike (or vehicle) when you're from out of state. I've since removed California from my online search.
