Finally pulled the trigger on a rough country winch bumper. Now the waiting… Oh and a whole lot of YouTube videos of cutting the bumper. upload_2024-4-13_12-16-23.jpg

Sorry but don't have a photo. I have Auto Ventshade (AVS) in channel visors. I like them a lot better than weather tech. Have owned both brands. Shaded vents on front windows only on black truck look great. I think shades on back windows looks clunky.

Had to pass on plans to camp next weekend but still wanted to test fit everything for the next camping trip hopefully in June. Only took me 30 mins to get the RTT on with my manual hoist and fastened up. Here she is in all her glory!

Yes high clearance liners from C4. It’s fairly easy install, just took my time to cut the fender and flare, I didn’t use the template they provide because it’s more aggressive and there isn’t as much width with 35” pizza cutters.

    stock a fawk!
Just ordered this kit too. Unfortunately. There’s an 8 week wait at the moment. I’m not too fond of their template. Prefer a more angular cut. can you cut the fenders more or does the kit follow the template exactly? Also added their cab mount relocation kit to my order. Hoping to be on 35’s and with 5.29’s soon here.

I would not be surprised you do not notice them. One thing I did over a year ago just after I bought the truck (based on advice from TW) was to angle the side mirrors down to see directly beside me better. Driving a low sedan/coupe you are at the same elevation as what you need to look at. In the truck what is eye-level is generally less relevant than what is below you. You probably unconsciously look down most of the time.

I saw another member with this knob and I had to get one. It feels so much better in hand than Trd pro knob. I do not regret and highly recommend this mod!

Added an angled USB to keep the android auto dongle out of the way.

Installed an OPT7 Redline Parlux tailgate light bar. Hopefully it may help prevent another incident like the one that cost me my previous Taco. :fingerscrossed:

Took it out on it's first camping trip. Softopper and topper tent were a great success!

I tried without adding any velcro in the bed as desired in the directions. That did result in the topper tent being loose on the sides. After using it in real world scenarios, I went ahead and added the velcro as soon as we got back.

There are some cons that I do need to figure out. Ventilation and condensation. The truck bed was sweating when we got up this morning because it got very humid overnight and down into the 50's. The topper tent has a massive bug screen for great air flow, however I probably need to get something like the Softopper dog window kit for the front and make a screen so there can be air flow throughout the sleeping space.

The USB adapter was ~$10 but it came with an angle for every direction (up/down/left/right). Seems to work so far and is a perfect flush fit. I wanted to tuck the dongle away without bending the wires too much.

Oh neat. I saw another Tacoma with something like this and thought it looked pretty cool. I might have to look into it. :spending:
