His pro will hold good value they always do and his suspension is still better than the stock offroad 24, you are correct on the torque and 0-60, and other features the 24 wins in but the minute you pull the ugly comment you just look stupid. Looks are subjective. Can’t really compare the two anyways.

It’s overpriced and ugly …

 

Just got back from Beaman in Nashville. They had about 20 on their lot available. Most were SR5 or SR but a few Sports and OR models. There were a few more marked sold. Here is a picture of most of them and then they had several around the back that were still being prepped.

 

I really like the white OR's there.

 

All those were base models too for the first 3 white ones. Shocked they had them since a lot of people don’t want all the tech. Beaman was my go to dealer and they were willing to entertain an offer below msrp, but they are now adding the stupid permaplate crap for $1499. Seems like they would deal on that too but you have to get it.

 

I'm of a fan at all of the base OR interior, or the price of the upgraded taco.

I'm sort of stuck right now lol.

 

I hear you. I am glade I am blessed that I made an investment a few years ago that set me up well or else I would have a hard time with price. Even still the Tacoma I want is about 54k and I paid 59k for my limited 2022 tundra. Prices are shocking at first glance.

 

For me it's not an affordability issue, but a "I don't want to spend that much" issue lol.

 

I’m now intrigued by the 3.0 Hurricane. 420 HP, 469 lb-ft torque, 24mpg on the highway and Chrysler reliability! Just gotta wait 3 months for $12,000 off MSRP!

 

Maybe slower on the pavement but there are much quicker vehicles and motos for the pavement than any Tacoma will ever be.

I'd wager a 3rd gen with similar size tires will be quicker offroad and more capable based on the ramp travel index scores. Plus less pin striping on the sides.. and those nice 4th gen shiny black fender flares will be a mess from branch scrapes off road due to the extra width.
